Welcome to my website and the exciting world of EFT, the Emotion Code, the Body Code, and Health and Wellness Coaching!

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is an energy-based self-help method, one of several that have become popular in recent years. The term "energy methods" applies to alternative and complementary techniques that address the body's energy fields in an effort to correct energy imbalances and the effect they have on emotions, thoughts, beliefs, mind, and body. The underlying premise of EFT as described by its founder, Gary Craig, is that the true cause of all negative emotions is a disruption of the body's energy system. The underlying premise of the Emotion Code and the Body Code as described by their founder, Dr. Bradley Nelson, is that intense emotions can become trapped in the body, disrupting its energy system and contributing to physical and emotional symptoms.

Like other "meridian energy techniques," EFT, the Emotion Code, and the Body Code focus on energy paths mapped in the body centuries ago by Chinese physicians. While acupuncture applies needles to specific points along these meridians, acupressure activates these points with finger touch, and EFT activates them with gentle tapping, while the Emotion Code and the Body Code activate key meridians with the use of a magnet.

Although energy methods have many apparent benefits, they are considered experimental by Western science and medicine. Energy methods such as EFT, the Emotion Code, and the Body Code are considered "alternative" or "complementary," and they are unlicensed in the United States.

I am not a physician, psychologist, psychotherapist, or licensed health care practitioner, and I teach people how to use EFT, the Emotion Code, and the Body Code only as a coach or mentor. I have completed extensive health coach training, am a Professional Health and Wellness Coach, am a member of the International Coach Federation, and am a founding member of IMPACT (the International Membership of Professional Advisors, Coaches, and Trainers).
